Post-Accident Analysis
Post-incident investigations are conducted to determine the causes of explosions or fires and to develop measures aimed at preventing similar events in the future. To date, more than 100 such investigations have been completed worldwide in cooperation with our partners.
Explosion Protection Document (EPD)
Under applicable legislation, every facility where an explosive atmosphere may occur is required to have an Explosion Protection Document. We provide comprehensive support in preparing, updating and verifying this document.
Structural Strength Calculations
Mechanical strength calculations are performed for process equipment to ensure the correct selection of explosion protection systems.
Explosion Protection Concept
We develop and optimise explosion protection system designs to ensure effective protection of personnel, equipment and plant infrastructure.
Explosion Consequence Analysis
Explosion consequences, including explosion venting effects, are predicted using numerical models and computer simulations. The analysis enables assessment of whether personnel and infrastructure within the pressure-wave or flame impact zone remain outside the area of potential hazard.
